Diplomatic missions and career consular posts and their home-based foreign members are exempted from motor vehicle tax upon condition of and in accordance with reciprocity on the basis of section 3 (10) of the Motor Vehicle Tax Act (Kraftfahrzeugsteuergesetz - KraftStG).
